Power Line Hike on Long Spur
10/23/08

With temperatures in the 50's, and sunny, and leaves at their peak, it's a great time to be in the mountains. We thought a hike up Long Spur would be fun, and it doesn't look that steep? It was rough going and fairly steep at first. But at the first tower we found the old service road (picture 13) and zig-zagged back and forth from there to the top. On the way down we followed the road and came out behind the Ralph Lambert farm (27).
