We are excited to announce that Pat Turner (aka Karla Neel) has decided to part with some of her beautiful paintings. Pat is a native of Bland County, the daughter of Ted and Marie Neel. She has lived in the scenic area of Bland County called Effna near Ceres area all her life. Her observations of the local beauty of the area and scenes of by gone days have been captured in her many paintings.

Pat has won various awards at the Chautauqua Art Show in Wytheville, the Bland County Fair and others. Many of us remember the wonderful paintings that she painted for the now closed Peoples Bank. They were so beautiful that the bank ownership was not willing to part with them when they closed the Bland Branch.
