Our club rode the new south end of the trail Sept 12th on Grand Opening day and it was enjoyed by all.
All were impressed by the new overpass and bridge and the beauty of the whole trip. We visited Moore's Gateway Bike shop and enjoyed looking over the new bikes. We did not attend the ceremony as we were scheduled to eat lunch at the Southern Mississippi College . We enjoyed riding around the Southern Mississippi campus. I could not see any way that the Longleaf Trace could be improved more. Regards Jim Swager (See Pictures taken on the ride) |
