Mr. Clifton Addison with Congress Steven Palazzo's office presented the
Coalition for Recreational Trails Award to the Longleaf Trace
Equestrian Trail for outstanding use of Recreational Trails Program Funds.

Executive Director/Trail Manager, Herlon Pierce was honored at the Pearl & Leaf Rivers
Rails to Trails Recreational District Board Meeting on March 10, 2015
for 15 years of service to the district. In his honor the Jackson Road Parking Lot
and adjoining facilities shall be named as the Herlon D. Pierce Trailhead.
