1999 was very wet, but 2001 set the new record.
This is not one of the numerous creeks
(note they are not swimming), this is just a low spot on the trail

Marvin Overstreet and Iva Lightsey are just 2 miles from the finish line

Despite the record rain, everyone seemed to have a great time
