On-line bidding (via e-mail) for tonight's silent auction closes at 3 pm today. After 3 pm you must come to the auction or call 601.307.4026 between 6:30 and 8pm to participate in the bidding. This year the Pine Belt Pacer Relays on Saturday May 20th will feature not only the track and field events, but a silent auction and dinner on Friday evening, May 19th. The time and location for the Friday, May 19 silent auction and dinner has been confirmed -- 6:30 p.m., at the offices of RARE Design in downtown Hattiesburg. Address is 627 N. Main Street. See Map to Rare Design (look for View Map after location) Winners of the auction items will be announced! Please RSVP Jim (jcoll@southernmissalumni.com) if you plan to attend. Proceeds from the auction will help fund track and field / cross country scholarships at Southern Miss in the name of the Pine Belt Pacers. Auction bids will be accepted by e-mail only to Jim Coll until Friday, May 19, when bids will be accepted at the Pine Belt Pacer Relay Pre-event Dinner. Items will be awarded to the highest bidder at the conclusion of the dinner. Current bids will be updated on the site as they are accepted. Bids must be in whole dollar increments. If more than one of an item is listed, then the multiple top bids for an item will be posted. For instance, if two of an item are posted, then the top two bids will be posted on the site (and awarded the items). If two of an item are posted, then a second bid at the same amount as the top bid will be accepted. Remember, all proceeds will help fund track and field / cross country scholarships in the name of the Pine Belt Pacers.
