Hello! I am the dietitian here at the Payne Center and I am heading up a shoe drive for Soles4Souls which provides shoes to those in need. I was writing to see if you all had any shoes you would like to donate. We currently have a drop box located in the lobby of the Payne Center, but I can come collect any donations you gather as a group. The shoes must be "gently worn" which pretty much means not falling apart and tied or strapped together. We are asking that $1 be donated with each pair of shoes so that we can cover the cost of shipping the shoes to the main collection facility. If you would like more information about the organization you may go to www.soles4souls.org and I also have some brochures you could hand out to your members.
