3/25/06 Jackson Academy Invitational Track Meet

The U-Coach team, coached by Pine Belt Pacer Yousri Elmejdoubi swept the 1600 and 800 meter races at the Jackson Academy Invitational Track Meet on Saturday March, 25.
 
Pine Belt Pacer(and U-Coach athlete) John Caleb Grenn won the junior varsity 1600 meter race at the Jackson Acadamey Invitational with a time of 4:55 (a new PR). He also won the 800 meter with a time of 2:18 and ran a 57 second 400 meters in the 1600 relay.  Both of those times are also PRs. 

Other U-Coach athletes, Logan Waites also won the varsity girls 1600 meter with a PR of 5:27, Brittany Griffis won the junior varsity 1600 meter (PR 5:29) and the 800 meter, Amber Griffis won the varsity girls 800 meter and placed second in the 400 meter.  Ronald Young placed third in the JV 1600 meter run with a 5:09 and Pine Belt Pacer Cameron Sherrill won the varsity 1600 meter run with a blistering 4:43 and 800 meter in 2:07.   

Grenn, Waites, Young and the Griffis girls run for Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg.  Sherril runs for Lamar School in Meridian.
