7:30 a.m., Sunday, November 5, 2006 Location: The race begins & ends at Entry: $45 entry fee for either race until 10/21 ($35 for Darkside Running Club members); $60 late fee until 11/4; $75 race day. Make check out to 'Darkside Running Club' and mail to: Scott Ludwig, 307 Haskin Knoll, Course Description: Six 5.18 mile loops for the 50K (five plus loops for the marathon) primarily on shaded and rolling asphalt golf cart paths. Two aid stations per loop as well as two unattended water fountains. Splits called after each loop. Both courses are certified. Pizza party at the conclusion of the event. This course is perfect for someone wanting to run their first marathon or ultra, as well as for someone looking for an excellent opportunity and course for a PR!!! Awards: Awards for overall male/female in open and masters categories in both races. Age groups awards to top two in ten-year age groups (19/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over). Commemorative medals to all finishers. All entrants will receive a unique gift symbolic of the event. Results: All entrants will receive a commemorative issue of Tales from the Darkside, featuring exclusive event coverage. Also, results will appear in Ultrarunning magazine.
