The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Inaugural 5k Run/Walk on Sat., Mar. 15, 2008 was a huge success! I suggested to Father Tommy a few months ago that we should have one, and got the response, "Great! You can chair that committee!" That'll teach me! We had 122 participants, and all seemed to run smoothly (minus the trailer falling off of Scott's truck on Hardy St. at 6:00 a.m. while trying to beat the volunteers to set-up!). I've attached a few pictures, and next year's festival (and race) is set for Sat., Mar. 14, 2009, so mark your calendars! Happy St. Patrick's Day, and thanks to those of you who participated!
