| Today was Hollie's return to race walk competition. What a return it was! He did the Mayor's Cup 5K in Biloxi, MS and placed second in the men's division in a time of 36:28 which is just under a 12 minute mile pace. On April 23 he fell off a ladder and had an open fracture(s) to the ankle area. After having surgery where *12* screws and numerous plates where inserted in the area to repair the damage, he did months and months of rehab. He has made an amazing recovery. Over the past three-four months he has built up to where he is now race walking 5 miles and riding his trike-bike 20-23 miles, alternating days. I also had a good race, winning the 60-plus AG with a time of 27:07. This was my fastest time since April/May when I ran in the 26:30-27:00 range.
