| The sixteenth annual Summer Beach
Run was held in Pass Christian on August 7 with well over 200
people participating in the 5K event. Kyle Lewis easily won with
a very fast time of 15:40. The first female was Allison Moll.
James Miller and Maureen Hock were the Masters Winners. John
Helm and Kristin Vergunst won the Grand Masters. Gerald Miller
and Nancy Dykes were the Race Walk winners. For the first time
in the eight years that I have run this race, the weather was
fairly comfortable. The temperature was in the upper 70s when we
started, which is something that we never saw when the race was
on the Biloxi Beach. After the race everyone enjoyed the nice
food and beverages. Leonard, who is currently suffering from an
injury; Terry, Denise and everyone with the Gulf Coast Running
Club did a great job as usual. Complete results are on the
