These are the overall race results for the Milton Classic 5K, held in Bogalusa, LA this morning. Somehow it had gotten cold the last few days, and this morning at 8:00am it was only a few degrees above freezing--yet sunny and pleasant. Pretty decent conditions after all. I managed to run pretty fast for a new PR of 21:40. Since I broke 22 minutes, I asked some of the guys wearing Garmin GP running watches what in fact was the distance we ran. They confirmed it was a full 5K. Seventeen years had to happen before I could return to finish a race in sub-22 minute time!!-- glorious weather, delicious jambalaya, and a new PR -- What more can you ask for? © Pijume Diwesi
