The 2007 Bogalusa Rotary Milltown
Classic 5K was held on Saturday, February 17 with a good
crowd braving the cool morning. After a few intructions from
the race director, we were off through much of downtown
Bogalusa. Jeff Marinez(18.14), Paul Bodet(18.24) and Chad
Strickermore(19.32) were the first three male finishers.
Allison Mall(19.52), Kayla Stricker(22.23), and Lena
Finch(25.28) were the first three female finishers. Hunter
Watkins (21.59) was the first under 12 male. Anthony Sticker
(19.33), Jared Holcomb (20.55) and Steve Adams were the
13-18 age winners. Will Knight (24.07) was the 30-34 age
winner. David Duke (30.25) and Van Stirsor (34.14) were the
winners in the 35-39 age group. Nestor Raul Anzola,who set a
PR, (21.40), Mark Keller (24.05), and Jeffy Dillion (24.21)
were the 40-44 age winners. Gregory Bodet (21.10) was the
45-49 age winner. Dennis Driskell (23.51), Steve Walker
25.36), and Chan Willis (31.00) were the 50-54 age winners.
Phillip Wedgeworth (21.18), William Burris (22.07), and Joe
Tosterod (25.39) were the 55-59 age winners. Buddy Hess
(28.32), Ron Williams (30.54), and H.K. Tabaril (31.52) were
the 60-69 age winners. Christie Stricker (29.08) was the
female under 12 winner. Rebekah Stricker (28.10) was the
13-18 female winner. Jodi Yarbrough was the 25-29 female
winner. melinda White (30.25) was the 35-39 female winner.
Regina Aucion (26.06) and Shelia Martinez were the 50-54
female winners. Glen Bodet and Judy Cazaux wer the male and
female winners in the race walk. After the race we enjoyed
plenty of good food and drink. Thanks to the Rotary Club of
