Action Buttons This
action button closes the form and returns to the previous menu These
action buttons will move through the records (first, previous, next,
last) |

Pointers
The
record pointer at the left below shows which item is selected when
multiple records are shown. This is the item (High Walled Plate) that
will be affected if you select an action button (edit, delete, etc) You can move from the selected record to any other by clicking in the record pointer bar above or below the pointer
3.
Scroll Bar and record selector a. When
there are too many records to show all of them on the screen, then in
addition to the pointer, there will also be several other navigation
aides, the Scroll bar and the record selector b. Using
the scroll bar on the right edge of the screen, you can change which
records are displayed i.
Move the cursor to any point on the scroll bar ii.
Press the left mouse button, and while holding the left mouse button
down, drag the scroll bar up or down iii.
The length of the scroll bar indicates the percentage of records that
are being shown. In the example above the scroll bar covers about half
the screen, so about half (15 of 39) the records are shown. If there
were 100 records the scroll bar would be much shorter. Since the
scroll bar is about half way down, about half the records not on the
screen are before these records, and half after. c. The record selector at the bottom left of the screen can also be used to change which records are showing, and which one is selected. Type in a record number, or use the buttons to go to the first, previous, next, or last.
4. Delete button a.
When deleting a Traycard (record of a resident), all the activity for
that resident will be deleted. This action can not be undone.
Therefore this action should be done with great care, but you can not
accidentally do it. There are several double-checks you must pass
before this action takes effect, including entering the delete
password (tcdelete). There is a special delete button used for this
action.
5.
When deleting an item on a setup screen, that item will be removed
from the records of all residents. If you enter a new item, and
immediately want to delete it, the regular delete action button will
delete it. However, once the item has been used on a Traycard, you
must first use the special delete button to remove the item from all
resident records. |
