The Friends of the Longleaf Trace recommends to the board of directors that a donation box (and later, a drop box) be installed at the Southern Miss Gateway to collect donations from Trace users, to include the following:

 

 

1.      Phase I.  A Standard Letter Locker and post (as shown above) from SeattleLuxe.com at a cost of about $425 including shipping

1.1.  To be installed by Trace maintenance personnel

1.2.  Location to be determined  by the Trail Manager

1.2.1.     between the Gateway building and the Gateway restrooms

 

 

  

 

 

 

2.      Phase II, if Phase I proves to be worthwhile after a 6-12 month trial. A mail drop and receptacle (as shown above) from Mailboxes.com at a cost of about $250 including shipping

2.1.  To be installed by Trace maintenance personnel

2.2.  On the side of the Gateway building at a location to be determined  by the Trail Manager
