The Neighborhood Christian Center announces that its annual fundraiser:
NCC's Pickin' and Paddlin' Outdoor Festival
will be held at Mayes Lakes on Saturday, April 1st, 2006.
Pickin’ and Paddlin’ will truly provide a festival atmosphere with: *Canoe and Kayak races *Bluegrass and Old-time music
* BBQ plate lunches provided *Free admission for children under 12
The 5K Race will start at 8:00, followed by the 1K at 9:00...
every participant will receive: bottled water, snacks, a Pickin' and Paddlin' T-shirt, free admission, a BBQ plate lunch (which includes BBQ sandwiches, two sides and sweet tea) and is eligible for trophies and prizes!
Bluegrass and old-time music featuring:
*The Delta Mountain Boys *The Broken String Band
*Hired Man's Horse *the Jackson Jug Revival
and The Vernon Brothers
