Start your Southern Miss Homecoming off right with a brisk run or jog at the 13th Annual 5K Eagle Run November 1, 2008. The 5K run is open to runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages. Register before October 24th and the registration cost is $15 for Adults and $10 for Children under age 14. Cost is $20.00 the day of the race. Free Tee-Shirt with every registration. Parking and registration will be on the east side of Reed Green Coliseum. Registration table will be at the Eagle Walk at MM Roberts Stadium. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. The race starts and finishes on the Eagle Walk/ M.M. Roberts Stadium. Race begins at 7:30 a.m. The Eagle 5K Run is an annual event sponsored by the University of Southern Mississippi Student Sports Medicine Association.
