PRESS RELEASE 12/21/04

 Clyde, Mississippi- Organizers are pleased to announce the addition of two major corporate sponsors for this year’s inaugural event, Dandy Dan’s BP and City Runners/Soccer Locker, who join Hattiesburg Coca Cola Bottling Co. and other sponsors who signed on early. 

Racers from three states besides Mississippi, (Alabama, Louisiana, and Arkansas), have already pre-registered. 

World famous grand masters runner, former gubernatorial candidate, and local legend George “Wagon Wheel” Blair, has agreed to race in the event, and has also agreed to sign autographs after the race.
